One-Stop Resource

One-Stop Resource

At Wonder Works Pediatric Therapy, we provide patients with three types of therapy - speech, occupational, and physical - in one location. This combined approach helps our practitioners collaborate to determine the most effective treatment plans AND makes scheduling easier. Together, we can discover every individual's ability to thrive.

Treating the Individual

Treating the Individual

Every person is different, and so are their needs. That’s why our therapists design individualized therapy plans to meet each individual where they are.

No two people learn or grow the same way - and that's especially true of children. Our individualized treatment process helps us, and the patients, support each child and their family to achieve their greatest potential.

Wonder Works Pediatric Therapy sessions are conducted in a caring and compassionate environment. Our team incorporates therapy that is fun and engaging for children but also effective at building skills and targeting individual needs for adults.

    Infant/Newborn Care:

Our team of professionals can assist you in helping your baby to master feeding and oral motor skills, maintain optimal weight gain, correct head shape, and sleep positioning.

  • Movement:

As babies and children become mobile, issues can arise related to walking, crawling, rolling, frequent falling (balance concerns), toe walking, torticollis, muscle weakness, orthopedic injuries, or scoliosis. Our multifunctional specialists provide therapy to correct concerns related to movement in children of all ages.

  • Social Skills/Self-Regulation:

Does your child struggle in social situations? Do they get overwhelmed in public places? Do they dislike switching from one activity to another? Do they have trouble making and keeping friends? If any of these are a concern, your child will likely benefit from a combination of speech, physical, and occupational therapy.

  • Self-Care:

Our treatment plans often include therapy exercises to train kids to be more independent in the areas of eating (oral motor skills), dressing themselves, sleeping alone and staying asleep, and basic hygiene. Our staff can even help children overcome selective eating and feeding (aversions).

  • Fine Motor/Vision:

Wonder Works therapists can help a child improve fine motor skills leading to improved handwriting, grasping, visual motor, and visual perceptual skills.

  • Communication:

Our program will help treat issues related to expressive/receptive language delay, articulation disorders, Apraxia, stuttering, voice disorders, tethered oral tissues, and cleft palate/craniofacial anomalies.

  • Academic/Executive Function:

Our targeted treatments can improve a child’s problem solving skills, and impulse control. We can teach skills to help them learn to sequence, plan, and organize. We will help to develop their working memory and emotional control.

  • Assistive Technology:

Our therapists have the knowledge and resources to get your child the latest assistive technology devices including including  alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), splinting, orthotics, seating, wheelchairs, walkers, and adaptive items for self-help.

Sound is everywhere, it is as much a part of our lives as the air we breathe, and the food we eat. But have you ever considered the impact of sound on your mental and physical health?

Research shows that certain types of music can improve your health and brain performance. That’s what The Listening Program is about, advancing your brain.

Wonder Works Pediatric Therapy recommends The Listening Program to some of our occupational therapy patients. Jill Jachino, OT, is a certified provider. She can provide you with more information on the benefits of the program.
